Nice to meet you! I’m Jessa, and my superpower is sharing the story and heart behind your brand through social media. My passion for social media developed early on when I began posting to Instagram and other social media platforms as a hobby. Upon graduating college with a degree in communication and public relations from Florida Gulf Coast University, I started a career in the corporate world.

I managed multiple social media accounts and campaigns for one of the largest public healthcare systems in the country, and learned a lot about data analytics, paid advertising, and copywriting from some pretty talented people in the process!

The experience propelled me to continue learning everything I could about other digital marketing disciplines, while still furthering my knowledge of social media marketing and content creation — my bread and butter. I also began exploring related fields like website development, photography, and graphic design, building on a skill set that now allows me to “wear many hats.”

I then transitioned into freelance and contracted work, helping nonprofits and startups develop social media strategies to grow their audience and online visibility. I love what I do and am especially grateful for the opportunity to positively impact small, locally owned businesses and their communities. 

I enjoy creative thinking, collaboration, and developing meaningful connections. When I’m not Instagramming or Facebooking, you’ll find me with a hot cup of coffee in hand, reading a good book, or taking photos on my Cannon AE-1 35mm film camera.
